Hello mothaotha hey hi how ya do’ern? It’s DJ Squirt baby come to take a take a and urine… Ok, well not quite (mom please excuse the Lil Wayne quote). It’s been a while since I’ve updated my site, I know and I’m working on it. Summit Sessions 2.0

Last year DJ Cassidy and I put out the first Summit Sessions, a mixtape to take snowboarding or skiing and people fucking loved it (ask me nicely and I’ll re-up this classic). We decided to have two guest DJs help out this year, DJ Sounds Supreme and DJ Mada. Mada also helped out with the graphics. We threw a release party at The Drink and gave out around 200 CDs that night, but here are the mp3s for your ipod Phillip Foster.

Art Page, Thanks Ali Spagnola!

I was googling ”giraffe art” for a Christmas gift idea and found this awesome blog where Ali Spagnola takes painting request via email and gives away free paintings. Sounds crazy, but I think ideas like this work in the long run. She accepts donations and does commissioned work as well. She says that, ”The more people that request paintings, the better I get at painting and the more famous I get, the more my paintings are worth. Everybody wins!”

After looking at a bunch of her art I visited her home page and found out that she does everything. Painter, Sclupter, Graphic Designer, Musician, and probably a bunch more. I’m the same way, and now you all get to read about my other creative outlets. So, Thanks Ali!

Here’s a taste of my first attempts at graphic design work (BTW I’m learning PS, AI, and DW in order to offer design and web-design as studio services).

Yo! First and foremost, thank you for visiting my site! I should be putting up a weekly post where I will profile a friend or group of friends and post a personalized mixtape that I made for them. In this first chapter I decided to make a mix for “The Wolf Pack.”

The Wolf Pack consists of Genevieve, Sarah, Jackie, Leslie, and I. I first met these crazy girls in CU Denver’s Music Entertainment Industry Studies program; but I got to know them through pancake parties, drunken uno, and other adventures like a scary-ass trip to Lakeside.

I have DJed a party or two for them and they come to see me play out a lot. There has never been a short of ridiculous requests. Don’t worry girls, I’m always happy to accommodate you and thank you for understanding that I can’t play everything in a club environment. But I LOVE your eclectic tastes in music. Keep testing me and lets keep this debauchery slash “We’re trying to figure our live’s out…” thing going! Love Ya!
