Last year DJ Cassidy and I put out the first Summit Sessions, a mixtape to take snowboarding or skiing and people fucking loved it (ask me nicely and I’ll re-up this classic). We decided to have two guest DJs help out this year, DJ Sounds Supreme and DJ Mada. Mada also helped out with the graphics. We threw a release party at The Drink and gave out around 200 CDs that night, but here are the mp3s for your ipod Phillip Foster.
Yo! First and foremost, thank you for visiting my site! I should be putting up a weekly post where I will profile a friend or group of friends and post a personalized mixtape that I made for them. In this first chapter I decided to make a mix for “The Wolf Pack.”
The Wolf Pack consists of Genevieve, Sarah, Jackie, Leslie, and I. I first met these crazy girls in CU Denver’s Music Entertainment Industry Studies program; but I got to know them through pancake parties, drunken uno, and other adventures like a scary-ass trip to Lakeside.
I have DJed a party or two for them and they come to see me play out a lot. There has never been a short of ridiculous requests. Don’t worry girls, I’m always happy to accommodate you and thank you for understanding that I can’t play everything in a club environment. But I LOVE your eclectic tastes in music. Keep testing me and lets keep this debauchery slash “We’re trying to figure our live’s out…” thing going! Love Ya!
